Product Questions

Are Glimmer Goddess® products truly organic and natural?

Yes. Glimmer Goddess® products are made with natural, plant-based ingredients and Certified Organic Ingredients whenever possible. We never use synthetic fragrance oils, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde, mineral oil, or ingredients listed on our Never List. Every product is handcrafted in small batches in Texas to help support freshness and quality.

Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?

Absolutely. Glimmer Goddess® products are cruelty-free and vegan. We are strictly against animal testing, and none of our products have ever been tested on animals. Our formulas are made without animal fats, animal oils, musks, beeswax, lanolin, or other animal-derived ingredients.

What skin types are Glimmer Goddess® products suitable for?

Our products are formulated for a wide range of skin types, including dry, sensitive, oily, combination, and mature-looking skin. Many customers with easily reactive skin prefer our gentle, plant-based formulas, but individual sensitivities can vary. We recommend patch testing before using any new skincare product.

How long do your products last once opened?

For best freshness, we recommend using products within 6–12 months of opening and storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Our products are handcrafted in small batches to help ensure you receive fresh formulas, and each product label provides guidance for proper use and storage.

Can I use Glimmer Goddess® products if I’m pregnant or nursing?

Our products are made with natural, plant-based ingredients, but pregnancy and nursing can make skin more sensitive. We always recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using any new skincare product during pregnancy or while nursing, especially products that contain essential oils or active botanicals.

What makes your products different from other organic skincare brands?

Glimmer Goddess® focuses on handcrafted, small-batch skincare made with natural, plant-based ingredients and Certified Organic Ingredients whenever possible. Our formulas are designed to be purposeful, concentrated, and ingredient-focused, without unnecessary fillers or synthetic fragrance oils. Each product is made with care in Texas by a founder-led brand that values freshness, transparency, and clean beauty backed by science.

Do your products contain any harmful ingredients?

No. We have a comprehensive Never List of ingredients you will never find in our products. This includes parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrance oils, formaldehyde, mineral oil, and many other ingredients commonly used in conventional skincare that do not align with our clean beauty standards.

Do Glimmer Goddess® products use fragrance oils?

No. Glimmer Goddess® does not use fragrance oils. Any naturally scented product is scented with essential oils or naturally aromatic plant-based ingredients. We also offer unscented options for customers who prefer products without added essential oils.

What is hyaluronic acid and why is it in your products?

Hyaluronic acid is a well-known humectant used in skincare because it helps attract and hold moisture on the skin’s surface. We include it in select formulas to support a hydrated, plump, and refreshed-looking complexion.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We purchase our ingredients from trusted suppliers with proven reputations for quality and responsible sourcing. We prioritize Certified Organic Ingredients, sustainably sourced ingredients, and fair-trade ingredients whenever possible. Quality and integrity are never compromised in our sourcing practices.

Why does my product look, smell, or feel slightly different than my last order?

At Glimmer Goddess®, we use natural, plant-based ingredients, and nature is beautifully unique. Because botanical ingredients are harvested at different times of year, slight differences in color, texture, or scent may occur from one batch to another.

We do not chemically process ingredients to make every batch look, smell, or feel exactly the same. Instead, we purchase ingredients in small quantities and handcraft in small batches to help support freshness. These natural variations are completely normal and do not affect the quality, performance, or care of your product.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50. Orders under $50 have a flat shipping rate. For detailed shipping information, please visit our Shipping Policy page.

How long does shipping take?

We try very hard to ship orders within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping typically takes 3–5 business days within the U.S. You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships so you can monitor its progress.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. International shipping times vary by destination. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by their country. Tracking is provided through U.S. customs, with updates resuming once the package reaches your country’s postal system.

Do you offer shipping protection?

Yes. We offer optional shipping protection at checkout to help protect your order in case it is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend adding shipping protection to every order, especially during busy shipping seasons, extreme weather, or when shipping to apartments, shared mailrooms, or high-traffic delivery areas.

Is shipping protection recommended for international orders?

Yes. We strongly recommend shipping protection for all international orders. International packages may pass through multiple carriers, customs offices, and postal systems before delivery, which can increase the chance of delays, tracking gaps, damage, or lost packages. Shipping protection helps provide extra peace of mind if your order is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

What should I do if my products soften or melt during summer shipping?

Because many Glimmer Goddess® products are made with natural butters and oils, some formulas may soften or melt in temperatures over 85–95°F. This does not mean the product is spoiled. Simply refrigerate the product for an hour or let it sit at room temperature to re-solidify. For liquid products, shake periodically as they cool. Orders & Returns

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Because we process orders quickly, usually within 1–3 business days, please contact us immediately at customercare@glimmergoddess.com if you need to modify or cancel your order. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request if the order has not shipped yet.

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your Glimmer Goddess® products. If you’re not completely satisfied, please contact us at customercare@glimmergoddess.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We’ll work with you to find a solution, whether that is a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Do you offer samples or trial sizes?

We offer several starter kits and sets that allow you to try multiple products at a discounted price. These are perfect for exploring our formulas before committing to full-size products.

Usage & Application

How should I layer Glimmer Goddess® skincare products?

For best results, apply products from thinnest to thickest consistency: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and SPF during the day. This helps each product absorb comfortably into the skin. For detailed guidance, check out our blog post on how to layer skincare products for maximum effect.

How much product should I use per application?

A little goes a long way with our concentrated formulas. For face serums, use 2–3 drops. For moisturizers, use a pea-sized amount for your face and neck. For body products, use approximately a quarter-sized amount per area, then apply more as needed.

When will I see results from using your products?

Many customers notice immediate softness, hydration, and improved skin feel. For visible cosmetic improvements such as smoother-looking texture or a more radiant appearance, consistent use over several weeks is typically best. Results vary by product, skin type, routine, and individual skin needs.

Glimmer Goddess® was founded by Shannon Reagan Henry, who struggled for years with extremely sensitive, reactive skin. Inspired by the comfort she found in simple, handcrafted skincare made by her mother, Shannon began creating her own plant-based formulas and founded Glimmer Goddess® in 2015 to share gentle, organic ingredient–focused skincare with others. Are your products made in the USA?

Yes. Glimmer Goddess® products are handmade in small batches in Frisco, Texas, USA. We maintain close control over our small-batch process so we can prioritize quality, freshness, and consistency.
